For all of you jumping over from my friend Erin’s Blog, Just Grand, here is a sneak peek at some of the Christmas Tree pins from my own personal collection. Christmas Tree pins were manufactured and sold in the 1940′s. They truly came into vogue during the 1950′s when wearing a Christmas Tree pin was considered a fashion statement. Many of my pins were created by the noted costume jewelry designers of the time: Hollycraft, Eisenberg, Art, Coro and Weiss. Wonderful vintage pins can still be found today at local antique shops, flea markets and on eBay. I wear my pins everywhere throughout the holiday season. They are affordable and it’s fun!

Middle pin in the middle picture-WOW! My favorite. Can’t wait to see Part 2!

Oh my gosh! I just found your blog! We are kindred spirits. I also wear Christmas Tree brooches every day in December and have a small collection as does my mom. I was going to blog about them this year and got too busy, and saving it for next year. I love your collection, but have to move on to part 2, see you over there in a minute!
