My good friend Erin, from Just Grand and I went to the Kane County Flea Market this Saturday. It was a breezy cold day and even though we miss the good old Kane County days, it was great to be in the new warm building. If you came over today from Erin’s post then you already know that in the first booth we both spied the vintage shoes forms and we both bought a pair. My husband says if it is not in our house, then it’s over at Erin’s since we have cornered the market!
When I caught a glance of the blue Tonka truck, I knew that it would be perfect for Erin’s Michigan cottage which you can read all about here. The rest of the knick knack pattywhacks went to my house and are happily resting in their new home. So, below is a summary of my “finds” for the day.
Love the shoes. The dish towel had all my favorite colors. The ladybug charm was added to the Red Devil typewriter key bracelet I made. Who can resist a Heisey glass basket? I shop Christmas year round so the votive was 50 cents, a dollar for the pair. And last but not least, the white birch bark canoe (with paddles no less!) for Michigan. Can’t wait until next month!
