I drove up to the Lake County Fairgrounds yesterday in a driving thunderstorm only to walk in and the first thing I see is this adorable hooked rug with the saying, Rain, Rain, Go Away.  How appropriate.  The day was filled with fabulous bright color and eye candy for the fiber artist.  I am definitely making one of these intricate shawls for myself.   I adored the Zig Zag Sock Yarn Baby Pram blanket which is a free download on Raverlry click Here.  And Emily Parson made wonderful hand dyed Magic Balls of  sock yarn which she sells in her Etsy shop and all you have to do is knit.  This is also now on my to knit list.  I have never tried spinning but the weavers were out in full force with fresh designs and lovely hand dyed wool.  Tempting.

Some of my favorites...

You are a gal on the go! No grass grows under your feet!

Love the baby blanket! Just purchased 7 skeins of Debbie Bliss yarn today to make a toddlersweater. The baby blanket looks like fun…another project on my list as well.

    Thanks for the link.
